The Power of Yes

Thanks to the contributions of the Sotheby's International Realty network, over $1.1M was raised to provide safe homes to those in need. Families in Mexico who are recipients of these donations are starting to move into their new, safe and sustainable homes. To date, 56 families have moved in and 25 more will be moving in within the next month.

These homes provide shelter and prosperity for families who lost their homes in the 2017 earthquakes. With nowhere to go, many families had taken shelter in their ruined homes or in make-shift tent homes. Every day, they were at risk of being struck by boulders falling from cliffs which destroyed many homes. Now, because of Sotheby's International Realty, they can sleep safely for the first time in two years.
